I wonder if your group might like to take a look at a blog created by two Birmingham-based writers who are writing a comic fantasy novel as a collaborative effort, and blogging about the process.

Vampires to fantassy, to social comedy-no chick lit yet…

It is a discipline when reading short extracts to be able to remind the listeners of the plot and characters each week and I have tried to devise a way of doing that so I am delivering a book at bedtime… sort of.

We have had lots of interesting new members who have appeared recently and some have disappeared-so I wonder if we are off-putting or intimidating or if they have a view about how we operate. It would be good to hear from them.

Thanks to Garret who has taken the website on and is full of energy and ideas.

I am sorry that I came to one meeting and then didn’t return! I’ve been really busy with acting work the past few weeks but I do intend to some next Wed with some new material!

Also I was just wondering if you guys knew about NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) I will be particpating in it during November. It is a really worthwhile festival and can really encourage creativity.

I’d love to join in your competting, I’ll keep my eyes peeled for the details!
